For brands & product teams

3D ProductAnimation Services.

3D product animation is a computer-generated video that shows how a product looks, works and is used, without a physical shoot. Null Station LLC creates 3D product animation for launches, product demos, e-commerce and fundraising campaigns, built from your CAD files or reference photos. We have been in practice since 2021. Every project runs on an agreed scope with milestone reviews, and an NDA is available on request.

What is 3D product
animation?

3D product animation is a film of your product made entirely in CGI. We build an accurate digital model, give it real materials and light, then animate cameras, mechanisms and environments around it. The result can look photographic, stylised or technical, depending on what the audience needs to understand.

When CGI beats a live-action shoot

Choose CGI when the product isn’t manufactured yet, when the story is inside the product (internals, airflow, assembly), when the camera needs to do something a rig can’t, or when you need many cuts, colourways and aspect ratios from one set of assets. A live shoot still wins for people-led lifestyle stories. Many campaigns combine the two.

One scene, many outputs

Because the product lives as a 3D asset, the same scene produces the hero film, short social cut-downs, 360° views and high-resolution stills. That reuse is where 3D product animation pays for itself over a campaign.

Product animation
we create.

01

Launch & commercial films

Cinematic films that introduce a product and set its tone for a campaign.

02

Product demo & explainer animation

Clear, step-by-step demonstrations of features and use.

03

Exploded views & how-it-works

Assemblies opening up to show components, internals and engineering.

04

360° product views for e-commerce

Turntables and interactive-ready sequences for product pages and marketplaces.

05

Crowdfunding & investor-pitch videos

Show a prototype-stage product as it will be, for campaigns and decks.

06

Stills from the same scene

High-resolution renders for ads, packaging and listings, matched to the film.

How a product
animation is made.

Six stages with a review at each milestone, so the direction is agreed before the expensive render time begins.

01 · Brief & reference
Goals, audience, length, formats and deadline, plus CAD or photos of the product.
02 · Script & storyboard
Shot-by-shot plan of what the viewer sees and learns.
03 · Modeling & look development
An accurate model from CAD or reference, with materials matched to the real product.
04 · Animation preview
A low-resolution animatic to lock timing and camera before rendering.
05 · Lighting, render & compositing
Final lighting, rendering, compositing and colour.
06 · Delivery
Master film, cut-downs and stills in the formats you need.

Questions about
3D Product Animation.

3D product animation is a computer-generated video of a product, built from a digital 3D model. It shows how the product looks, works and is used, without a physical shoot. Brands use it for launch films, product demos, e-commerce 360° views and crowdfunding or investor videos.

We start from your brief and CAD or photos, write a script and storyboard, then build and texture an accurate model. An animation preview locks timing and camera. After that come final lighting, rendering and compositing, and delivery of the master film, cut-downs and stills in your formats.

Cost depends on length, the number of shots, model complexity, the level of realism, environments and revision rounds. Reusing an existing CAD model lowers effort. Share your brief and we will send a scoped quote with milestones, so you know exactly what is included before work starts.

Timing depends on scope: a short turntable moves faster than a multi-shot launch film with environments. We agree a schedule and milestones before starting, and you review the storyboard and animation preview along the way, so there are no surprises at the final render.

Yes. We can work from CAD files, engineering drawings or sketches. That makes 3D animation a strong fit for crowdfunding campaigns, investor pitches and pre-launch marketing, because the product can be shown accurately before the first unit exists.

It depends on the story. CGI wins when the product is a prototype, when you need to show internals or impossible camera moves, or when you want many formats from one asset. Live action suits people-led lifestyle content. Many campaigns use both.

Yes. We are happy to sign your NDA, or provide ours, before you share CAD files, unreleased designs or launch dates. Files are used only for your project.
